Record each sale on the Transactions sheet and the Dashboard shows how the business is performing by month, product category, region and sales rep. What you get: Dashboard: six headline KPIs (total revenue, gross profit, profit margin, transactions, average order value and year-to-date target attainment). It also has a monthly revenue vs target table and chart, revenue by category and region, a sales rep leaderboard and the top five products. Attainment is colour-coded green (100% or more), amber (90–99%) or red (below 90%). Transactions: one row per order line, with dropdowns for region, rep and product. Product name, category, price, revenue, cost and profit are filled in automatically. It has room for 500 rows. Products: your price and cost list, with units sold, revenue and profit worked out for each product. Targets: monthly revenue targets, plus annual targets by region and by sales rep. Setup: company name, reporting year, and the lists of regions, reps and categories. Read Me: step-by-step instructions, colour legend and notes on how each figure is calculated. How to use it" On Setup, enter your company name and reporting year, and edit the lists of regions, reps and categories. On Products, list your products with their prices and costs. On Targets, enter your monthly, regional and rep targets. On Transactions, add your sales in the blue columns (A–H). The grey columns calculate on their own. Open the Dashboard to see the results. The template includes fictional sample data for Jan–Sep 2026. To start fresh, clear the blue cells in Transactions A6:H505 and replace the Products and Targets values with your own. Good to know: Net revenue is quantity × unit price × (1 − discount). Gross profit is net revenue minus cost. Only sales dated within the reporting year are counted. The dashboard shows up to 5 regions, 6 sales reps and 5 categories. Currency is shown in $. Change the number format if you use another currency. Suitable for: sales managers, sales operations, finance and business owners who want a simple monthly or quarterly performance review.
Budget & Expense Tracker Template
This Excel workbook helps you plan a yearly budget, record income and expenses, and see how actual spending compares with your plan. Everything calculates automatically; you only type into the yellow cells. Getting started (5 minutes): Setup sheet: Enter your budget year, opening balance, and the month you’re reporting through. Optionally set a savings rate target. Budget sheet: Rename the income and expense categories if needed and enter your planned amount for each month. The figures shown are samples, so replace them with your own. Day-to-day use: 3. Income Log: Record each payment you receive (date, source, description, amount). 4. Expense Log: Record each expense (date, category, description, payment method, amount). Choose categories from the drop-down lists, and enter all amounts as positive numbers. Row 6 on each log is an example entry; overwrite it. Reviewing your results (automatic): Dashboard: Year-to-date income, expenses, net savings, current balance, savings rate and budget variance, with charts. Monthly Summary: Budget vs actual income and expenses for each month, plus opening, closing and projected balances. Category Variance: Year-to-date budget vs actual for each category, with status flags (Over budget, On track, Under budget). Actuals: Monthly totals pulled from your logs. Positive variances (green) are favourable, and negative variances (red) are unfavourable. Each log holds 500 entries. Entries dated outside the budget year, or using a category that isn’t on the Budget sheet, are not counted. The Data Check on the Monthly Summary sheet will flag this. Update the “Report through month” on the Setup sheet each month to refresh the year-to-date figures.

White Paper Template
This template gives you a ready-made structure for turning research, analysis or a proposal into a professional white paper. Save a copy, then work through it from front to back, replacing each [bracketed placeholder] with your own content. The grey italic prompts tell you what belongs in each section, and you delete them as you go. Start with the cover and document control. Enter the title, author, audience, date, version and classification. The title and classification also feed the running header and footer, so update them there too. Write the body in order, but save the Executive Summary for last. It should stand alone as a one-page summary of the problem, findings and recommendation. Build each section around evidence. In Findings and Analysis, lead with the insight, then show the supporting data. Add or remove findings as needed (three to five is typical), and make each recommendation traceable to a finding. Use the built-in elements. Tables, callout boxes, figure placeholders and captions are already formatted. Copy and adapt them rather than creating new ones, so the look stays consistent. Keep headings on Word’s built-in styles (Heading 1 and 2). This keeps the table of contents working and lets you restyle the whole document from the Styles pane. Finish by refreshing the contents. Right-click the table of contents and choose Update Field, then update the entire table. Then delete any unused sections and prompts, and export to PDF for distribution.

AI Usage and Impact on Students & Professionals
The AI Usage and Impact on Students & Professionals dataset focuses on understanding how people use Artificial Intelligence tools in their education, work, and daily activities. The dataset includes both students and professionals, allowing us to compare their AI usage patterns and understand how AI affects different groups of users. It contains demographic information such as age, gender, country, education level, and profession, along with information about income and the type of user. The dataset also provides detailed information about AI usage behavior. It records which AI tools users prefer, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, and other AI platforms. It also identifies the main purpose for which AI is used, including studying, coding, writing, research, data analysis, content creation, office work, and customer support. The AI_Usage_Hours_Per_Day feature helps measure how much time users spend using AI each day, while Tasks_Performed shows the types of activities they complete with AI assistance. Another important part of the dataset is measuring the impact of AI on users. Features such as Productivity_Score, Accuracy_Rating, and Satisfaction_Score help determine how users feel AI affects their work or studies. The Time_Saved_Hours_Per_Week feature can be used to investigate whether AI helps users save time. AI_Experience_Years can also help analyze whether users with more experience using AI achieve different productivity or satisfaction levels compared with beginners. The dataset can be used to perform several interesting analyses. For example, we can investigate whether professionals use AI more frequently than students, which AI tools are most popular, which professions depend more heavily on AI, and which purposes have the highest usage. We can also examine whether increased AI usage is associated with higher productivity, greater satisfaction, or more time saved. Comparisons can be made between countries, education levels, professions, and different experience levels. From a Data Science perspective, this dataset is useful because it contains both numerical and categorical variables. Numerical features such as age, income, usage hours, productivity score, satisfaction score, and time saved can be analyzed statistically, while categorical features such as gender, country, profession, AI tool, and AI purpose can be analyzed using grouping and encoding techniques. It is also suitable for Feature Engineering. New features could be created, such as Weekly_AI_Usage_Hours, Productivity_Per_Hour, High_AI_User, or AI_Cost_Per_Usage_Hour. These engineered features can provide additional insights and can later be used as inputs for machine-learning models. Overall, this dataset provides a practical way to study the adoption, usage, and impact of Artificial Intelligence among students and professionals. It can take you through a complete Data Science workflow, starting from data inspection and cleaning, followed by EDA, visualization, feature engineering, statistical analysis, and eventually machine learning.
